Meet Jordan
She is only 10 years old and already a business woman. Let me introduce you to the cute little girl with the dynamic personality and megawatt smile who is the face, inspiration and namesake of Jordan's Closets Resale Boutique. Jordan is the daughter of Joslyn and the granddaughter of Jera. She refers to herself as "the third business partner". Jordan is currently a fifth grader and she loves school. Her favorite subject is Reading. She is an avid reader. Jordan also loves dancing and acting. She has been dancing since the age of 3, and acting since she was 6 years old. For the last 5 years Jordan has been a member of ETA Creative Creative Arts Foundation Youth Performance Workshop. She is a performer in their Saturday Children's Matinee Series. Jordan has performed in such plays as The Reading Machine on Sunny Side Lane, Destination Freedom, Ama and The Magic Toy Box and is currently a cast member in Kasimu and The Coconut Palm. She is also part of ETA's summer performing arts program Chicago on the Nile. Last year she could be seen dancing around Chicago as a member of a group called Lil J and the Gumdrops. They performed at private parties, as well as The Harold Washington Cultural Center and The Chicago Theater. Jordan's projects for 2012 include playing "Diana" in playwright Cassandra Bell's play Broken Windows and to be a featured extra in the upcoming independent film Hard Knock Life. Jordan's goal is to continue perfecting her skills which will allow her to attend a performing arts high school. She has set her goals to act, dance and continue to be in the fashion business with her mom and nana. The world is at her feet and nothing with stop this little dynimo. If you think all this would go to a little girls head, not this little charmer. For her it just comes with the territory of being a young business woman.
