We are the owners of Jordan's Closets Resale Boutique. A  mother, daughter and granddaughter team Jera L. and Joslyn S. Slaughter as well as a 10 year old Jordan who the store is named after. The idea to open Jordan's Closets came after we were stopped repeatedly and complimented on how cute Jordan was dressed. Strangers would ask us what we did with her clothes when she outgrew them. That's when the idea struck to open a store. We decided that we could offer lovingly cared for clothing, shoes, accessories and outerwear to others at low prices. Our combined talents for design, impeccable fashion sense, retail background and education, coupled with  Jordan's charismatic personality and beautiful smile were the ingredients needed to launch Jordan's Closets on March 4, 2006. 

Jordan's Closets was much more than your average thrift store. It was an elegant and fun shopping experience. The inside decor of the boutique was a pastel oasis straight out of any little girls fantasy room. Customers were often greeted by Jordan with, a warm friendly smile welcoming them to Jordan's Closets. Inside you would find a large selection of beautiful, freshly laundered and well maintained clothing including shoes, accessories and outerwear. Each item had been carefully inspected to insure that it was free from stains, rips and accessive fading. We then offered it to the public at extrodinary prices. We kept our business open in Chicago's historic Bronzeville community for 4 years. We officially closed our doors in late July, 2010. However not ones to be deterred from our dream we have now decided to take our unique concept of upscale children's resale one step futher with the launch of JordansClosets.com. Now we can offer our exceptional services to the world. We hope you will enjoy the Jordan's Closets experience and spread the word.
